If the game is made "for" single player and simply "tacts on" coop "without" coop being a detriment to how the game plays in SP, then there's no issue. (Because of the people using the words, not the definitions themselves) It's not exactly semantics 100% of the time. Technical wise it's just another entity in your Single Player game. If they added Pets to the game, it would be the same damn thing. You're essentially just plopping down a customizable ghost. Nothing changes in the single player experience even when playing in COOP instead. Look at divinity OS2, that's how COOP is supposed to be. COOP is not "supposed" to change single player aspects. You people hear COOP and confuse it for MP, they are not even CLOSE to the same damn things.Ĭoop in SP games simply means having a friend tag along to gather & build the town. No offence to anyone who likes that kind of game, it's simply a deal breaker for me. If this turns the way MD now has, and becomes aimed at multiplayer, I won't buy it. I got heavily into MD for the specific reason it was a solo game. Originally posted by leequiring:I'm probably in the minority here, but so be it.
